    Add GoLocal Pilot to ChatGPT

    Open ChatGPT Plugins ↗. Choose + → Add custom MCP server, then name it GoLocal Pilot.

    Keep OAuth selected and let the settings load automatically. You don’t need an API key, client ID or secret. Review the trust notice, tick I understand and want to continue, then choose Create as a plugin → Continue to GoLocal.

    Under Advanced, the registration method should be Dynamic Client Registration (DCR) and the discovered scope golocal:assisted.

    Sign in once. Connect your account.

    Choose Continue with Google to create your account or sign in. Continue with email is also available. For email sign-in, open the link on the same phone/browser to return to the connection. Review the tools, then choose Connect my account. You can revoke access from your GoLocal account.

    Ask your agent. Approve your request.

    Choose Try in chat, select GoLocal Pilot and paste this prompt. Your agent asks for the service details and shows the exact offer before submission.

    Use GoLocal Pilot to find participating plumbers in ZIP 84101. Help me choose a diagnostic visit, then show the exact supplier, price, requested time, scope and cancellation terms. Submit a test request only after my approval. Wait for supplier acceptance before saying it is confirmed.

    The supplier reviews your request in their own account. Ask your agent to check the status after acceptance. A requested time becomes confirmed only when the supplier accepts.

Use this connection for the customer-to-supplier test. The separate GoLocal Demo connection uses example providers and cannot reach supplier accounts. ChatGPT is verified; other account-based OAuth clients are not enabled yet.

What can the demo MCP do?

Scope a tap leak, list fictional plumbers, return sample appointment windows, prepare an example offer, confirm it immediately after approval, and check the signed demo confirmation. It cannot access your accounts, read supplier systems, book real crews or collect payments.
